Thanks Roger, that is very generous of you 🙏🏻. I loved Flight Behaviour , but have not read the others.
I thought “Prophet Song” got bad reviews , but I need to re visit this book on your recommendation.
Was Teddy Goldsmith editor of the Ecology magazine ? I have faint recollection…so will look it up along with the others you recommend…although the Capra one is probably a stretch for me…
I'm reading, when I can, a book about the American Civil War, and how strikingly similar people are now to people then, when building up to a war.
Oh, this whole thing with money and wealth, it really needs a good shake and reassessment!!
But books, books, books. I love 'em.
I'm slowly moving in, in my new apt, new job. Gotta get going and fetch another load over today. I'll end it with a rental truck to bring the bigger bits, and... Start a new life.
Maybe I'll write a book, too. ;) Hugs, Susan!! Thanks for the good stuff, and hope you're doing well. xo xo
Thank you for the recommendations. I would love to join the book club when it does start. My recommendations are mostly classical philosophy, such as the Gay science by Niezstche
Ok here's my top five read in the last 20 years.
Heavyweights:
- The Way by Edward (Teddy) Goldsmith (1992)

Document
- The Old Ways by Robert Macfarlane (2012)
There's about 60 more listed in the post here https://rogerco.substack.com/p/of-eco-related-books

Not sure I love all books , but if I was bereft of any choice .. I would read the cornflake box 😂
Enjoy your Civil War Book, as history does repeat itself if we don’t learn from it .
Wishing you much joy and delight in your new home & job xxx

A book recommendation: The More With Less Cookbook by Doris Jantzen.
Thank you Denise, I am going to look up your recommendation 🙏🏻
Thanks, Susan. The first two look especially interesting - of the five I’ve only read Meg‘s one!
I think you would enjoy those books , let me know if you get round to reading them…
I have a few Meg Wheatley’s ..do you have a favourite ?
Also have her song lines, based on the aborigine walking themes…it is a wonderful mix of Meg’s words and dreamlike music 💖
Thank you Chris , for your support and companionship .
